Artist Throw Blanket
This collaboration with local Phoenix artists The Fortoul Brothers brings art into your everyday. The limited edition double knit throw highlights the graphic style and duality of day and night found in their work.
The unique feature of this throw is the perfect inverse of the image from front to back. We sampled dozens of graphic knits before finding a partner in Portugal who could achieve this structure by essentially knitting two blankets together. Facilitating the balance between technical feasibility and achieving the desired aesthetic outcome, I worked with the artists to adjust the imagery as needed to achieve a durable knit structure while preserving the integrity of their original artwork.
The outcome is this cozy piece of art. Each blanket was numbered with a custom woven label, mirroring the exclusivity of their paper prints.

JetBlue + Tuft & Needle partnered to bring the comforts of home to the sky with a plush foam pillow, multi-use blanket, and amenities kit including a toothbrush & tooth paste tab, eye mask, ear plugs, and socks. Throughout the process, we prioritized sustainability where possible, creating a durable blanket that could withstand dozens of washes, packaging the soft goods in a reusable fabric bag, and the amenities in recyclable paper packaging.
One of our early brainstorm calls took place while I was on a sourcing trip in India. During the call, I expressed my frustration that the plane on my way there was so air conditioned and I kept waking up with cold feet. This led to the idea of a foot pocket, which carried through the design of this multi-use blanket that allows traveler to “choose their snooze” by using branded snaps to create a foot nook, sleep shawl, or rest vest.
The blanket and pillow are created with high quality materials that are made to last. The foam exterior shell of the pillow gives support while the poly-fill core lets the user’s head sink into plushness. The modern, quilted blanket provides warmth and coziness without being stifling and is purposefully oversized to accommodate travelers of all heights.
